How To Enroll
The following steps can be expected in the enrollment process at SALT:
1.  Call Our Office at (561) 235-5775

Once our office is contacted, an information session will be scheduled.

2.  Attend an Information Session
  • One or more parents will meet with a director or team leader at SALT
  • Gives you a tour of the facilities
  • Guides you through what a typical day at SALT looks like
  • Answers your questions about the program
  • Helps us know as much as possible about your child’s needs
  • Provides you with more detailed information about our program
  • Any evaluations your child may have had may be requested
  • A Shadow Day will be schedule for you student(s)
3.  Student Shadow Day

A shadow day provides your child the opportunity to become familiar with the school and helps them get a feel for our environment at SALT.

During the Shadow Day;

  • Your child will observe or participate in classes, typically from 9:30am-12:30pm
  • The teacher may assess your student in the areas of reading, math, and writing
4.  Follow Up Session

After your student(s)’ shadow day, SALT staff will meet again with you to discuss how both sides feel about the experience. If we all agree that our school is a good match, all forms will be provided for you to fill out and return promptly in order to hold your child’s spot in the group.
